We’re used to seeing a voluptuous Christina Aguilera, perfectly made up, sex-appeal oozing out of every pore. Well, this isn’t one of those moments for her. Looking a tad frumpy in layered clothes and flip-flops with a scowl to boot, Xtina looks less-than-starry. Sure, she’s got a baby in tow, but that shouldn’t stop you from looking fierce. Maybe after the supposed fight with husband Jordan before this picture was taken, Ms. Aguilera wasn’t in a very photo-oppy mood.

In this time of an economic crisis, Christina Aguilera is cutting costs. The sexy musical MILF just celebrated her son’s 1st birthday, sharing the party with pal Nicole Ritchie’s son who was born just hours after. But bear in mind, this is still a Hollywood birthday party. Inspired by the children’s book Where The Wild Things Are, the party had an elaborate jungle theme with balloons and decorations. The guests came dressed as characters from the book. I dunno about you, but I would’ve given anything to see Christina dressed as a sexy fox. Mmmmmm… I guess I’ll just have to settle for these equally hot pics.

I’m not really into these music awards shows. All I want to see during these shows is if someone has an oops moment that I can talk about but so far, during the 2008 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in L.A., no celebrity had one. Sucks. But anyway, here are some pictures from some of the performers that night. Check ‘em out, especially Christina Aguilera’s outfit.
