With the release for the first teaser poster for Spider-man 4 hitting the web (pun intended) being discovered as a fake, call me skeptical when announced that Kirsten Dunst who has been feigning interest in reprising her MJ Watson role in the next installment of the multi-billion dollar franchise will indeed be in the fourth Spidey adventure. Rumors of an unbelievable pay-hike to a much meatier role were thrown around as reasons for her not wanting to be involved. Me, I just think she’s being a bitch. So if she is indeed going to be in the fourth installment, I am gonna keep a close eye on on-set reports of her behavior because I don’t trust this chick for one minute.
She’s still in negotiations to reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming fourth installment of Spider-man, but Kirsten Dunst doesn’t seem all too excited to step back into the shoes (or rather, the red hair dye) of the ultimate girl next door. Producers have been hounding her for an answer, but she’s supposedly waiting until a script is done before she makes a decision. I say, don’t wait too long. Young Hollywood actresses are a dime a dozen, and any actress would do the role in a heartbeat. No one is irreplacable. Just look at Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes (replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in The Dark Knight) and Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling (replaced by Julianne Moore in Hannibal).
