With the surprise hit Taken making over $100M at the US box office, Maggie Grace has been catapulted back into the spotlight since being killed off during the second season of Lost. Since her demise on the show, she’s been languishing in little seen projects like The Jane Austen Book Club (yeah, I told you, very little seen). But now with the success of Taken, it looks like she’s making her way up the A-List ladder. She’ll next be seen in the movie Malice In Wonderland, an updated version of Lewis Carroll’s classic. She plays the titular character, a role that was supposed to go to Mischa Barton, but had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts (re: DUI arrest!) who suffers a car accident and wakes up in a bizarre parallel world.
Is Lost’s Evangeline Lilly leaving acting? Well, that seems to be her plan if she has her way. It’s been heard that after the 6th and final season of the show, Evie plans to take a long break and has no idea if she’ll continue acting. I guess the stress of doing a complicated, highly stressful sci-fi show would ride you to the bone. But I’m sure we won’t see the last of Miss Lilly. Season 5 of Lost begins this Wednesday.
