She’s riding the wave of stardon with a series high finale for her show House and her brief but memorable appearance in the blockbuster and acclaimed reboot of Star Trek, and so what does one such as Jennifer Morrison do when such a thing happens? Well, appear in a bikini and other sexy outfits in a magazine, of course. Here she is in the pages of Men’s Health magazine looking, well, healthy is obviously an understatement. Too bad these pics aren’t that hi-res, because I would love to see these pics in minute detail.
Fresh off the success of the hit reboot of Star Trek, Winona Ryder seems to be enjoying a creer resurgence after having some not-so-career-enhancing things happen to her. Good thing Star Trek was a hit, because it seems like her next release the critically-panned adaptation of Brett Easton Ellis’ The Informers will be heading straight to video. Maybe she’ll have better luck next year with the action thriller Alpha Numeric which is still in the stages of pre-production. She needs to have her own hit soon otherwise she might be relegated to small, supporting, MOM roles. Kinda like the one in Star Trek.
Playing the role of iconic sci-fi figure Lt. Uhura in the re-imagined Star Trek movie coming out in May has definitely pushed Zoe Saldana’s career into hyperdrive. She’s got a slew of projects that will keep her on the big screen ’til 2011. This year alone she’s got three more films to be released including the much-anticipated James Cameron film Avatar. So it looks like this sexy screen starlet will be around for a while. And that is definitely good news.
It seems like Winona Ryder has dropped out of the collective showbiz radar, hasn’t she? Yes, she’s been working steadily but no one seems to be watching any of her movies. Sex and Death 101? Water Pills? The Ten? Need I go on? Her next film doesn’t seem to be faring better. The Informers, an adaptation of the Brett Easton Ellis novel is being torn apart at Sundance. Poor Winona, she can’t seem to catch a break. But hopefully that’ll change with her appearance in the anticipated J.J. Abrams’ version of Star Trek hitting theaters in the summer. Meanwhile, you can relive her Dracula glory days with this series of photographs.
